TAX INSPECTORS WITHOUT BORDERS (TIWB)

The TIWB initiative supports developing countries in their efforts to build tax audit capacity in view of broader domestic resource mobilization objectives. TIWB enables the transfer of tax audit knowledge and skills to tax administrations in developing countries through a real time, learning by doing approach. Through joint OECD and United Nations Development Programme initiatives, the CRA provides expert assistance in risk assessment, audit and transfer pricing techniques in Papua New Guinea's forestry industry as well as preparatory work for a second initiative to provide assistance with audit techniques for Guinea's extractive sector.
