COMESA Trade Facilitation Programme

The objective of the programme is to increase intra-regional trade flows of goods, persons and services by reducing the costs/delays of imports/exports at specific border posts and throughout the region by reducing NTBs across the borders, implementing the COMESA Digital FTA, WTO TFA, improving the CBM, and liberalising the trade in services and movement of persons.

The programme is composed of five components, one of which will be implemented simultaneously in selected corridors and the entire COMESA region based on the state of readiness of member States.
