AUSTRALIA SOLOMON ISLANDS PARTNERSHIP FOR GOVERNANCE (ASIP-GOV) 2021-2027

Australia Solomon Islands Partnership for Governance (ASIP-Gov) has a total value of $45 million investment from 2021 - 2027. It is proposed a 4 plus up to 2 year contract ( AUD 7.5 million per year). The overarching goal of the program is to work with SIG to embed inclusive and accountable governance across and within central SIG ministries, and provincial authorities. Expected investment outcomes - subject to validation t - are as follows:a.Maintained or increased credibility of SIG’s annual budget process, sustainable debt management and effective revenue collection to facilitate a platform for economic growth and recovery from the effects of the pandemic.b.Progress in supporting SIG to develop robust financial management systems c.Maintained or increased capacity of accountability agenciesd. Greater and inclusive access to and participation in governance and electoral systems
