World Bank Multi-Partner Fund for Somalia (Public Financial Management II Project)

The World Bank Multi-Partner Fund for Somalia (Public Financial Management II Project) includes technical support to Inland Revenue departments in the Ministry of Finance to achieve improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of tax administration with an emphasis during Phase 1 upon: a) a Tax policy gap analysis report; (b) taxpayer segmentation and required compliance processes; (c) TIN register database; (d) establishment of a road map for implementing an ad valorem customs duty regime for the Federal Government of Somalia.
