SEATINI JOINS ATI

The Addis Tax Initiative (ATI) is thrilled to announce that the Southern and Eastern Africa Trade Information and Negotiations Institute (SEATINI) has joined the initiative as a new supporting organisation. SEATINI will collaborate with 70 ATI like-minded members to support efforts to implement the ATI commitments laid out in the ATI Declaration 2025.  

SEATINI is a non-governmental organisation based in Uganda that focuses on trade, fiscal, and development-related issues to achieve sustainable development and improve livelihoods in this African region. SEATINI’s interventions in the 'Financing for Development' area are dedicated to inclusive and accountable domestic resource mobilisation through capacity building, research, alliance building, media engagement, and policy advocacy. 

With SEATINI's inclusion, the ATI continues to expand its reach and to increase its partnerships – building on its shared commitment to promote tax systems that work for people and advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
